Super Smash Bros Crusade is a fun fighting game that as its name suggest, continues the Smash Bros franchise’s tradition of providing a unique computing experience by allowing up to 4 players to hit each other at the same time on the same computer.
Super Smash Bros Crusade is a fantastic fighting game, but its most serious flaw right now is that it requires extra programmes to configure a control which is necessary if we want to play it with friends. You can also check out Play with SIX.

Super Smash Bros. Crusade
Super Smash Bros. Crusade is large project launched by three Smash Bros. fans: Phantom7, Falcon8r and Dr.MarioX. It was developed from the ground up. Their goal is to make a Smash Bros. game that includes characters and levels from some of the most iconic video games of all time, as well as a Smash Bros. experience that incorporates the best aspects from the franchise.
The best of the game is not being able to play with friends, but rather the fact that the cast of characters is on par with what one would expect from a game with such a name. Goku, Mario, Kirby, Sonic, MegaMan, Donkey Kong, Chun Li, Ridley, Pikachu, Rayman, Porky, Ryu, Link…. they’ll all be in the game’s final version which promises more than eighty characters.
The game’s scenarios are likewise well-known, such as those from the original Smash Bros. or Street Fighter, but with some extras to make them distinctive ane enrich the game’s experience.
As expected, each character has their own set of blows and special attacks that we must learn to master. In addition, each figure has an alternate outfit that allows us to see him in a completely different light from the original.
How to Game Plays
In the Super Smash Bros. series, the primary goal is to defeat the other players by knocking them out of the arena. Players fly off the stage when they acquire damage and are launched by attacks. Players that have taken a lot of damage are easy to knock out. The gameplay in Super Smash Bros. Crusade is quite similar to previous Smash Bros. entries, but it also incorporate features from other traditional fighting games.
In SSBC, there are two main game modes: 1-Player Mode and Crusade. 1-Player Mode is Break the Targets and Board the Platforms which has been presented in the Super Smash Bros Games.
Player can choose the number of lives (from 1 to 5) and the difficulty level before starting Classic (from Easy to Intense). If players lose all of their lives the game is ended; however, they can choose to continue, although their current scores will be reduced by 1/3.
Classic Mode keeps track of your progress and awards Bonuses at the end of each match. These bonuses are based on the amount of damage done and the amount of time left. Clearing a match without suffering any damage earns you a bonus. In addition, a No-Miss bonus is awarded for each level passed without losing a life, and this bonus rises if the player is on a “Streak” of levels cleared without losing a life (not including Bonus Stages).
Break the Targets
Players can practice the Break the Targets bonus game in this mode. Break the Targets goal is to eliminate red targets as quickly as possible.
A story mode is currently under development, although neither its confirmation nor its concept has been finalized.
Versus Mode, often known as Crusade is a free fight mode in which participants can play any type of battle using custom rules and settings. When the P1 or P2 pointer is over the text box at the top of the Character Selection Screen hit A to open the VS settings.
Stock is a “last man standing” game variant in which participants are limited to a certain amount of lives. The winner is the last player on the stage with any remaining lives.
KO’s, Falls and Self-Destructs are used to keep score throughout the fight. The game is won by the player who has the highest score at the end of the time restriction. The Score Display option in the VS Settings page toggles the score number’s display during the game.
Stamina is a survival mode similar to Stock in that players have Health Points (HP) that are depleted when characters are hit by attacks. Because attack power doesn’t scale with damage level in this mode, matches consist on merely dealing enough damage to knock opponents out rather than blasting them out.
Any of the above games can be played with one to three players in a team. The colours red, green and blue are used to distinguish the various teams. Friendly Fire can be enabled in the VS Settings to allow teammates to attack one another.
